Engagement with our members helps us shape the national narrative and using our links with government and regulators increases recognition of communities’ role in decarbonisation

Community Energy State of the Sector report - our members' official data to support the voice of community energy in Scotland.
Community Energy Scotland has a clear focus working with community groups and supporting practical community energy projects. Listening to you during members’ events and consultations, we ensure that the community voice is heard in policy debates, government consultations and the development plans of key organisations such as Scottish Power Energy Networks and Scottish and Southern Energy Networks.
 
We regularly submit responses on leading issues, giving evidence in parliamentary inquiries and attending conferences dealing with relevant topics. We also combine with our colleagues in Community Energy England and Community Energy Wales in seeking to influence UK Government Policy.
