We’re keen to work in partnership with anyone who is committed to community energy development...anywhere. In our view it is a potent means of empowering and building community capability and resilience to tackle fundamental issues of confidence, poverty, health, wellbeing and sustainable development. We are enthusiastic in applying our knowledge, gained first hand in Scotland, to build capacity in other countries on community energy development. Current projects include:
- The Community Energy Development Programme in Malawi with our partners University of Strathclyde, including the development of ‘Community Energy Malawi’
- Social Enterprise in Community Renewable Energy, a Northern Periphery Programme funded project with partners in Finland, Iceland,
- 100% Renewable Energy Systems and The EU Champion’s League, with partners across Europe, funded through the EU Intelligent Energy Europe programme.
